27 Bangladeshi expats die from coronavirus in Saudi Arabia

A total of 27 Bangladeshi expatriates died from coronavirus so far in Saudi Arabia.

Bangladesh ambassador to Saudi Arabia Golam Masih confirmed the deaths to Jago News on Tuesday. 

The burial of all the deceased has not been completed yet. All of them will be buried in Saudi Arabia, he said. 

He also said, Saudi authority didn’t inform us how many Bangladeshi expatriates have been infected with the virus. But we are trying to know about this.

The first Bangladeshi expatriate died from coronavirus in Saudi Arabia on March 24. The authority of Medina Al Jahra Hospital confirmed the death to Bangladesh consulate office in Jeddah.

To be noted, 11,631 people have been infected with coronavirus in Saudi Arabia as of Tuesday night. Of them, 109 died from the deadly contagious virus.
