Sonali Bank’s corporate branch in Dilkusha area in the capital has been closed temporarily as an employee of the branch was tested positive for novel coronavirus or COVID-19.
Ataur Rahman Pradhan, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the bank, confirmed the matter to Jago News on Monday.
The branch of the bank has been closed temporarily as after an employee got infected with coronavirus, Pradhan said adding that we have sent all staffs of the bank into home quarantine.
The operation of the corporate branch has been transferred to the bank’s Motijheel Dilkusha branch, he added.
