A court on Thursday convicted four people and sentenced them to death for killing a businessman in Kushtia in 2013.The convicts are Hasan, son of Maikel, Salman, son of Md Boshir Ahmed, Nishi Kanta, son of Krisno Gosh and Rahatuzzaman, son of Abdur Rahim.According to prosecution the convicts strangulated Alamgir Hossain to dead, owner of a shoe store at Amlapara area in Sadar upazila of the district on January 19, 2013.On January 20, Jahangir Alam, brother of the deceased filed a case against the four with Kushtia Model Police Station.After examining all records and witnesses Additional District and Session Judge Rezaul Mohammad Alamgir handed down the verdict.
