171 more Bangladeshis test positive for coronavirus in S’pore

171 more Bangladeshi expatriates have tested positive for the novel coronavirus or COVID-19 in Singapore.

With this, so far 1,049 Bangladeshis have been infected with the deadly contagious virus in the country.

Health Ministry of the country confirmed the cases on Tuesday. 

It said, Singapore reported 334 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of cases to 3,252 since the start of the outbreak.

Of the new cases, 198 are linked to known clusters, 22 are linked to other local cases, and 114 are as yet unlinked.

Besides, 25 more have recovered from COVID-19, raising the total number of recoveries to 611 in the country.
