The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) has awarded death penalty to one Habiganj Razakar while another two have been jailed unto death for their crimes during the liberation war of 1971.The three-member tribunal led by Justice Anwar Haque gave the verdict on Wednesday morning.Mahibur Rahman alias Boromia was awarded death penalty while his brother Mujibur Rahman alias Angur Mia, and their cousin Abdur Razzak were awarded imprisonment till death.The trio hail from Baniachong upazila’s Khagaurha union. The siblings served as chairmen of the union parishad.
