A massive fire broke out at Jhut Patti in city's Mirpur-10 on Saturday afternoon.
Being informed, 10 fire extingushing units rushed to the spot, and are struggling to douse the fire.
Russel Shikder, duty officer at Fire Service and Civil Defence, said they sent 10 units in two phases to the spot after heard the fire incident around 1:25pm.
While the report was filed, fire personnel could not bring the blaze under control.
However, causes of the fire, and loss and casualties could not been known yet.
