Eight Bangladeshi nationals have tested positive for the novel coronavirus in the Spanish capital of Madrid.
Among the infected people, critically ill two were kept in the Incentive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital where the all are undergoing treatment.
Out of the eight, three are from Sylhet, two (husband and wife) from capital Dhaka, one from Jashore, and identity of the rest one could not be known.
Md Fazle Elahi, president of Bhaliante Bangla, a Madrid based Bangladeshi human rights organization, confirmed the matter.
