Hajj flights to start from June 23

The hajj flights carrying Bangladeshi pilgrims for performing the holy hajj this year will begin from June 23.

State Minister for Religious Affairs Advocate Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah disclosed this at a press briefing at the Secretariat on Sunday noon.

The State Minister said, the Hajj flights will begin on June 23 of this year. The Holy Hajj will be held on July 30 (9 Jilhajj) depending on the moon sighting. 

The authorities of Biman Bangladesh Airlines will complete all preparations for conducting scheduled Hajj flights without any delay, the minister said.
