Mahfuzur Rahman Mithun, Senior Reporter of Daily Amader Shomoy, died in the capital on Saturday morning.
Senior Reporter of the daily Abu Ali confirmed the death to Jago News.
Abu said Mithun was admitted to BIRDEM General Hospital after he fell sick in the morning. The doctors declared him dead after doing an ECG test. His body was kept at the hospital.
It is believed that he suffered from a stroke, Abu added.
