Three Bangladeshi cattle traders were killed by the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) along Hapania border in Porsha upazila of Naogaon early Thursday.
The deceased were identified as Ranjit kumar, 25, son of Shukra, Mofijul Islam, 35, son of Khodabox and Kamal Hossen, 32, son of late Jillur Rahman.
According to local people, some youths entered India through the border to bring cows on Wednesday night. When they were returning, BSF members shot on them and killed three cattle traders early today.
In this connection, BGB-16 Hapania camp Commander Mokhlechur Rahman, said he was informed about the deaths of three people.
One of the bullet-hit died in Bangladesh territory, he said adding that a letter will be sent to BSF for flag meeting.
