A Dhaka court has summoned Grameen Communications chairman Nobel Laureate Dr Muhammad Yunus and three others to appear before it on February 6 in a case filed for violating ten rules of Labour Act.
The three others are Managing Director of Grameen Communications Naznin Sultana, Director A. Hai Khan and Deputy General Manager Gouri Shankar.
Judge Rahibul Islam of Dhaka Third Labour Court on Monday issued the order after taking the case into cognizance.
Jamal Uddin, record-keeper of the court, confirmed the matter to Jago News.
Earlier on January 9, a case was filed against Dr Muhammad Yunus and three others for violating ten rules of the labour law.
Tariqul Islam, Labour Inspector (General) of the Department of Inspection for Factories and Establishments, filed the case at Dhaka Third Labour Court.
