Shias in Bangladesh protest killing of Soleimani

Shia Muslims in Bangladesh have protested the killing of Iran's top military commander Qassem Soleimani by a US air strike in Iraq.

They observed a protest programme in front of Jatiya Press Club in Dhaka on Friday.

Speakers at the programme said US killed Soleimani because they could not allow his works for the whole world, including the Middle East countries.

They urged all, irrespective of Shia and Sunni, to protest the killing.

They also said Qassem Soleimani played vital role to stop the creation of militants organizations like Taliban, Al Qaeda and ISIS, in the Middle East by US for creating unrest in the region. America and its ally Saudi Arabia murdered him.

At the programme, Shia Muslims shcolars Md Mir Ashraful Alam, Maulana Syed Ishtiaq Rabeja Habib, Hashem Abbas, Aftab Hossain, among others, were present.
