Inspector General of Police (IGP) AKM Shahidul Haque said, BNP leader Aslam Chowdhury has confessed plotting to topple the government in Bangladesh.He said this while addressing a programme held at Telicom Auditorium in Rajarbagh Police Lines in Dhaka on Thursday afternoon.‘During the interrogation, Aslam told us that he met Mossad’s agent Sadafi and sought their help to conduct subversive activities in Bangladesh to oust the ruling Awami League government,’ said the IGP.He also confirmed to the journalists about a sedition case filed against Aslam at the Gulshan police station on Thursday.DB Inspector Golam Rabbani filed the case.It is mentionable that, Detective police detained BNP joint secretary general Aslam Chowdhury from Dhaka’s Kuril area over his meeting with Israeli secret services Mossad.
