Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has ranked the 29th in the list of World's 100 Most Powerful Women in 2019 made by Forbes Magazine.
In 2018, Sheikh Hasina's position in Forbes' Most Power Women was 26th.
The magazine said Sheikh Hasina Wajed, fourth term Prime Minister of Bangladesh, has been continuing her struggle to establish a firm democracy in the country.
She plans to focus on issues such as food security and access to education and healthcare, the American based magazine added.
India's Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has also been named among the world's 100 most power women. She ranked 34th.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel has topped the the list, followed by IMF chief Charistine Lagarde, ranked second spot, and Speaker of the United States House of Representatives Nancy Patricia Pelosi, became third.
