Seven leaders and activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) have been detained by police along with machetes and two crude bombs from Shantipara in Chuadanga on Tuesday night.The Chuadanga Sadar Police Officer-in-Charge Tojammel Hoque confirmed the matter to the journalist.He said two groups of local unit of BCL had been at loggerheads over establishing supremacy in the area.Following this, several clashes were carried out in last couple of days between the two groups, the OC added.Later, police conducted the drive in the area to bring the situation under control and arrested the seven along with the weapons and bombs.
