Two children drowned in the Padma River at Baker Ali Bordering area in Sadar upazila of Chapainawabganj on Monday.Local people said Lipi, 7, daughter of Samsuddin and Ramzan, 5, son of Mozammel Haq of Tikirchar village, drowned in the river while taking bath at about 1:00pm.After a hectic search, local people recovered the bodies of the two children at about 4:00pm.
