Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations will begin on November 2 with the participation of 26,61,682 examinees in this year.
Education Minister Doctor Dipu Moni said this at a press conference held at the Education Ministry on Tuesday morning.
A total of 22,60,716 students will sit for the JSC examination, while 4,00,966 examinees for the JDC examination.
Some 2,33,310 irregular students will take part in the JSC examination while 30,291 in the JDC.
The ministry’s Senior Secretary to Secondary and Higher Education Division Sohrab Hossain and Dhaka Education Board Chairman Professor Ziaul Haque were present at the press conference.
To be noted, a total of 26,70,333 examinees appeared at the JSC and JDC examinations in 2018.
