Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) have conducted a drive at the house and office of online casino operator Selim Pradhan and seized huge quantity of liquor, money and currency in the capital’s Gulshan 2.
The drive began at House No 11/A of Road No 99, at 3:30pm on Monday.
Assistant Superintendent Mizanur Rahman, Senior Assistant Director of RAB (Legal and Media wing), confirmed the matter to Jago News on Tuesday.
He said the drive is underway. Further details regarding the matter will be disclosed after the drive.
Earlier on Monday, Salim was detained from Bangkok-bound Thai Airways flight at Dhaka’s Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.
