Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Thursday received treatment for her eyes at the National Institute of Ophthalmology and Hospital in the capital’s Sher-e-Bangla Nagar.
She went there in the morning, bought a ticket for Tk 10 from the counter and took treatment like any other patient.
MM Imrul Kayes, PM’s Assistant Press Secretary, confirmed the matter to Jago News.
During her stay there, the prime minister enquired about the current activities of the hospital and thanked the physicians and nurses.
To be noted, the premier had also received treatment from the hospital this way in the past.
