Seven people were killed after a bus hit a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Cumilla on Sunday noon.
The incident took place on Cumilla-Noakhali regional road at Jamtoli area of Lalmai upazila around 12:15pm.
Three men, two women and two children were among the dead.
Identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Jiaul Islam, In-charge of the Lalmai highway police outpost, confirmed the accident to Jago News.
He said, a Dhaka-bound bus of Tisha Paribahan collided head-on with a Laksham-bound CNG-run auto-rickshaw in the area, killing five on the spot and injuring two children who died later on the way to nearby hospital.
