A total of 66 unsuccessful students in Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination in Rajshahi Education Board have passed after re-evaluation of the answer sheets,reports BSS.
At the same time, 44 more students got GPA-5 in the re-evaluation. Rajshahi Education Board authority published the result in its website here on Friday.
Earlier on July 17 last, the HSC result of 2019 has been published. Pass percentage was 76.38 this year, up by 9.87 percent than that of last year. A total of 6,729 students including 3,188 girls secured GPA-5 among the total passed students in the examination this year.
A total of 1,48,672 students including 67,850 girls appeared in the examinations in 197 centres from 758 educational institutions in eight districts under the education board. Afterwards, the board authority received application of re-evaluation of the published result from July 18 to 24.
After not getting their cherished result, the students submitted application for re-evaluation of around 35,000 answer sheets in all eight districts under the board.
The board authority got highest number of application for re- evaluation of two English papers, 5,262 for English first paper while 4,622 for the English second paper, said Prof Anarul Haque Pramanik, Controller of Examinations.
