The Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examination results was unveiled on Wednesday morning by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina where no student from 41 educational institutions passed.
As many as 73.93 percent students were cleared this year’s HSC and equivalent examination and achieved GPA-5 by 47,386 students of them where the pass and achieving GPA-5 rate increased comparatively.
Earlier in the day, the copies of the results were submitted on PM’s hand at her official residence Gana Bhaban by Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni and Deputy Education Minister Barister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Noufel around 10 am.
Besides, chiefs of all boards handed over the results to the premier respectively. Later Sheikh Hasina unveiled the results.
The overall pass rate of the eight general education board is 71.85 percent. For the madrasa board, the rate is 88.56 percent. Meanwhile, 82.62 percent vocational board candidates cleared the exams.
HSC and equivalent examinations began on April 1 and concluded on May 11.
