The results of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations were published on Sunday with 69.60 percent pass rate against last year`s 78.33 percent.Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid handed over the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her official residence Ganobhaban at 10.00am.A total of 7,38,872 students, out of 10,61,614, came out successful in this year`s HSC and equivalent examinations.A total of 42,894 students achieved the highest grade point average (GPA)-5 in the public examination.Among the GPA-5 achievers, 23,293 are boys with 69.04 percent pass rate and 19,601 girls with 70.23 percent pass rate.The education minister will formally announce the results at a press briefing at his office at 1.00pm.Results will be also available on www.educationboardresults.gov.bd and in respective campus.Go to your Mobile text option and type HSC<>1st three letters of your board name<>your roll no<>2015 Send to 16222.For masrasah students, they have to type Alim<>Mad<>your roll no<>2015 and Send to 16222.For vocational students, type HSC<>Tec<>your roll no<>2015 and send to 16222.
