A Dhaka court has issued arrest warrant against 78 people including Dhaka University (DU) students over the question paper leak of the university’s admission test.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Sarafuzzaman Ansari passed the order on Wednesday.
The court also fixed 30 July for submitting report on execution of the arrest warrant.
Nizam Uddin, General Registrar Officer of the court and Sub Inspector of Shahbagh Police Station, confirmed the matter to Jago News.
Earlier, on June 23, the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) submitted a charge sheet against 125 people including DU students over the question paper leak.
On October 19 in 2017, the CID conducted a drive at two residential halls of DU over admission test question paper leak and arrested two students - Mamun and Rana. After getting some information from them, the CID also arrested an admission seeker named Rafi.
On October 20 in 2017, a case was filled with Shahbagh Police Station over the question leak.
