The mild to moderate heat wave which is sweeping over Dhaka, Rajshahi and Khulna divisions and the regions of Noakhali and Dinajpur may continue till tomorrow, a met official said today.
“The mild to moderate heat wave is sweeping over Dhaka, Rajshahi and Khulna divisions and the regions of Noakhali and Dinajpur and it may continue till tomorrow. After that there is a chance of raining at some places of the country,” he said, reports BSS.
A met bulletin, however, said rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions in the next 24 hours as of 9am tomorrow.
The weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country.
The day and night temperature is likely to remain unchanged over the country.
The highest temperature on Friday was recorded 39.5 degrees Celsius in Rajshahi, while today’s minimum temperature is 19.5 degrees Celsius in Sylhet.
