Three people were killed in separate road accidents in Narsingdi on Thursday morning.
Ariful Haque Sumon, 38, son of Anisul Haque, hailing from Bhola, was killed when a bus hit his motorcycle on Dhaka-Sylhet highway at Kondarpara in Shibpur upazila.
Earlier, two people were seriously injured when a Sylhet-bound bus rammed a rickshaw at Kamartek area in the upazila.
Later they were sent to a local hospital where the doctors declared them dead.
The injured were identified as Rasel Al Mamun, 40, son of Abul Gani of Narsingdi and Shah Alam, 50, son of Julhas Miah of Narayanganj.
Arjun Biswas, Sub Inspector of Itakhola Highway Police Out-Post, said the drivers of two buses managed to flee away after the accidents. Legal action is being taken in this regard.
