The female students have outnumbered their male counterparts in terms of pass rate and obtaining of the maximum grade point average (GPA)-5 in this year’s SSC or equivalent examinations, reports BSS.
A total of 8,82,224 female students passed the examinations with 83.28 percent success rate this year while the number of successful male students is 8,66,941 with 81.13 percent pass rate, according to the SSC results published here today.
Female students are 2.15 percent ahead of their male counterparts in terms of pass rate.
A total of 53,484 female students secured GPA-5 while 52,110 male got the GPA-5 under the 10 educational boards this year.
The pass rate of female students was 78.85 percent last year while pass rate of male students was 76.71.
