Awami League (AL) Acting General Secretary Mahbub-Ul-Alam Hanif today said the Jamaat-e-Islami has no right to do politics by changing their true color.
“Jamaat reformists have no right to do politics wearing new masks… They (Jamaat) should regret about their activities during the liberation war instead of changing their color,” he told newsmen after placing wreaths at the mazar of Sher-e-Bangla Abul Kashem Fazlul Huq on the occasion of his death anniversary, BSS reported.
Refuting the allegations made by BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir that BNP leaders elected to the parliament were pressurized by the government to join the parliament, he said was no pressure on BNP MPs to take oath in the house. However, they took oath driven by their own moral responsibilities, he added.
