Four people were killed and two others injured when a truck driver lost control over the steering and ploughed into a camp of construction on the side of the road at Gabtoli area in Rangunia of Chattogram.
Identities of the victims could not be identified immediately.
The truck carrying logs was headed to Chattogram when the driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a roadside workers’ camp, said Imtiaz Bhuiyan, officer-in-charge of Rangunia Police Station.
Police and fire service personnel later recovered four bodies from the scene. Two others were admitted to a hospital.
