A curfew will be imposed from 6 pm today (Apr 21) until 6 pm tomorrow, Sri Lankan Presidential Secretariat announced a short while ago, reports The Sunday Times.
This decision was taken to facilitate ongoing investigations into the explosions which had occurred across the country today, the Presidential Secretariat said.
Meanwhile, Defence Minsiter Ruwan Wijewardena told reporters today that discussions have been held with the higher ups of the security forces including IGP Pujith Jayasundara in this regard.
The curfew will be imposed after taking into consideration the current situation in the country.
