Eminent singer Khurshid Alam was injured as a truck hit a microbus carrying him at Charmatha area in Bagura in the wee hours of Saturday.
He was admitted to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College and Hospital.
Brigadier General Golam Rasul, director of the hospital, he (Khurshid) will undergo a CT scan test. After observation, he will sent to Dhaka for better treatment.
A seven-member medical board was formed for his treatment, Golam added.
Bagura Additional Superintendent Sanaton Chakrabarty said we visited the spot after being informed about the matter.
According to the source, Khurshid went to Bagura on Friday to join an award ceremony programme organized by Joypurhat Welfare Trust. He booked a room of hotel Momo Inn for staying the night. He came out of the hotel for having suffer and came under the accident when he was returning to the hotel.
