Bangladesh U-16-women’s football team head coach Choton is excited and looking forward to make a good start Bangladesh U-16 team against Philippines in the second round of qualifiers of the AFC U-16 Women’s Championship 2019 scheduled to be held on Wednesday at Mandalay Thiri Stadium, according to a message received in Dhaka from BFF.
Choton said, “We performed very well in Dhaka in round 1 against some good sides. Our performance against Vietnam was an indication of how we have improved and we are looking at repeating this similar standard in our first game.”
Meanwhile, after the first day of training, both senior women team and U-16 girls are continuing their practice sessions in Myanmar. All players are adjusting to the condition and have no injury issues. They have gone through a medical screening this morning, reports BSS.
Senior women’s team had training at the Myanmar regional Academy this morning while the U-16 team had their conditioning training in the Fitness Suite at the Hotel.
Later this afternoon, the U-16 girls scheduled to have a training session at the match venue.
