Finance Minister left for Italy

Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal left here for Italy on Tuesday morning to attend the 42nd Session of the Governing Council of International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) to be held in Rome, reports BSS. 

The theme of the 42nd IFAD Governing Council is “Rural Innovation and Entrepreneurship” which is a key part of the IFAD11 Commitment to embrace a culture of results and innovation.

After wrapping up his five-day visit, the Finance Minister will return home on February 17, said a Finance Ministry official.

With its specialized mandate of enabling rural transformation, IFAD has a pivotal role to play in creating the conditions for innovation and entrepreneurship to thrive in rural areas and improve poor people’s livelihoods and prospects.
