Three people were killed as a passenger-bus hit a motorcycle on Dhaka-Tangail highway at Itahata area in Gazipur on Sunday morning.
Identities of the deceased could not be known immediately. The age of the deceased is estimated to be between 18 and 20 years old.
Police seized the bus and its bus driver and helper from the spot.
Moktar Hossen, officer-in-charge of Bason Police Station, said a Nabinagar-bound bus coming from Chandana crossroad hit a motorcycle carrying three people. Two people were killed on the spot and another was died on the way to Tajuddin Ahmed Medical College and Hospital.
