Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan today said the present government is committed to ensure sustainable security, peaceful environment for the people, especially for the businessmen to run their businesses smoothly.
“Bangladesh is now seeing business-friendly environment in the country. We are now exporting many goods after achieving self-sufficiency in the producing those items. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is keen to do everything possible to expand businesses and attract foreign investment,” he said.
The minister came up with the observations while addressing a function organized on the occasion of laying foundation stone for unit-2 of Salam Steel Concast Re-Rolling Mills Ltd at Dhaka Officers’ Club in Dhaka.
“Drugs are major obstacle in establishing Bangladesh of possibility. We would do whatever needed to eradicate this menace. Drugs are not produced in our country, some crooked people smuggled these here,” Kamal added.
Abu Hossain Babla, MP, and Salam Group chairman Abdus Salam were present on the occasion, among others.
