Miscreants carried out bomb attacks on four houses and two business establishments of Awami League leaders including a lawmaker’s house in Jashore in the wee hours of Sunday.
No one was injured in the bomb attacks.
Apurba Hasan, officer-in-charge of Jashore Kotwali Police Station, said the house of AL lawmaker Kazi Nabil Ahmed of Jashore-3 constituency came under the bomb attack around 2:30am.
Two bombs exploded in front of the Hotel Jabeer International of Jashore district AL secretary and also upazila chairman Shahin Chaklader. Earlier two bombs also blast in front of the house of Shahin’s cousin Touhid Chaklader. Later they heard that Chaklader filing station came under the bomb attack.
Besides, miscreants carried out bomb attacks on the houses of AL acting secretary Imam Hasan Lal and Juba League leader Rajibul Alam.
In a reply to a question, the OC said they are looking into the matter.
