Five people have been killed as a microbus fell into the ditch at Birpasha area in Bijoynagar upazila of Brahmanbaria district on Wednesday.
The accident took place at 2:30pm.
Confirming the matter, the officer- in- charge of Khatihata Highway Police Station said a Sylhet bound microbus fell into a ditch after losing its control in the area. Five passengers were dead on the spot.
Several passengers were seriously injured, and their condition was critical, he also said.
