Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will invite the political parties and alliances again those who took part in the dialogue at PM’s official residence Gono Bhaban before the 11th parliamentary elections held on December 30 last year.
Before the joint meeting of Dhaka and its surroundings’ districts, upazilas and municipalities Awami League (AL) presidents and secretaries, the party’s General Secretary Obaidul Quader on Sunday said this while briefing to the journalists.
Quader said: “AL president and also the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina invited all political parties to take part in the dialogue before the national polls. At that time, the dialogues were held with 75 political parties including Oikyafront and Juktofront at Gono Bhaban.”
“Now the election is over. Our leader at the joint meeting of working committee and adviser council said that she will invite those who took part in the dialogue,” Quader said.
Quader, also the Road Transport and Bridges minister, said: “Sheikh Hasina will exchange views with the leaders of the political parties and the time will be informed immediately.”
“All political parties, those who took part in the dialogue, will be invited through the letter,” Quader added.
Among others, AL Joint General Secretaries Abdur Rahman, Jahangir Kabir Nanak, Organizing Secretaries Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury and Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury were present.
