Representatives of China’s Universities have conducted a seminar at United International University (UIU) to present educational opportunities their institutes may offer the students of Bangladesh.
The seminar was conducted at the auditorium of UIU to unveil their programs as well as recruit talent for China’s academic institutes, on Wednesday.
“Representatives of China’s various universities are here to introduce possibilities for higher education to Bangladeshi students. We are also searching for talent for our university," said Dong Liang, the project manager, of the International Student Affairs Office of the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China.
Furthermore, he said: “Students can apply to Chinese universities without an IELTS score.”
The Vice Chancellor of UIU, Prof. Dr. Chowdhury Mofizur Rahaman, was the chief guest of the event while Shariful Islam, a PhD scholar of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, spoke at the seminar.
Among the opportunities offered by the Chinese universities, Shariful Islam mentioned the availability of several scholarships.
He asserts that all the scholarships cover: tuition fees, accommodation, insurance, a living allowance, and a one-time settlement subsidy.
Students can avail the opportunities through the Australian Education Consultant, directly from the preferred university, or through the education ministry.
