Actor and comedian Tele Samad has been taken to Intensive Care Unit of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) due to breathing problem.
His elder daughter Sohela Samad Kakoli on Saturday morning confirmed the matter to Jago News.
Two weeks ago, he was admitted to Square Hospital in the capital with chest infection and then shifted to BSMMU on December 19.
He is now under the treatment of diabetic and medicine specialist of BSMMU doctor Pratik Dewan.
Tele Samad made his debut in 1973 film Kar Bou. He got his breakthrough in the film Noyonmoni, directed by Amzad Hossain.
