Three children, including two sisters were drowned in a pond at Beldi under Rupganj upazila in Narayanganj on Wednesday afternoon.The deceased children were identified as Maria, 9 and her sister Maqsud, 7, daughters of Masiqur Rahman and Hafiz Uddin’s daughter Habiba, 10, all hailed from the area.Khairul Islam, Officer-in- Charge (OC) of Rupganj Police Station confirmed the matter.
