The government has decided to reduce bus fare by 3 paisa per kilometre for long route buses.The new fare has been fixed at 1 taka 4 paisa per km, previously which was 1 taka 45 paisa.The ministry took the decision after considering two separate proposals placed by Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) and the bus owners.The Road Transport and Bridges Ministry issued a circular in this regard on Tuesday.The Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges took the decision following the recent cuts in fuel prices.
