Uncapped opening batsman Shadman Islam has been included in the Bangladesh squad for the first Test of the two-match series against visiting West Indies.
The 23-year-old left-hander has been a regular run scorer in domestic cricket over the last few years and had previously represented Bangladesh A and Bangladesh Under-19 teams, BSS reported.
He also played a magnificent 73-run knock in the two-day practice match against West Indies.
The first Test of the two-match series will begin on Wednesday in Chattogram.
