Police have seized 8,000 pieces of yaba pills after searching a private car from Amirabad area under Lohagara upazila in Chittagong around 12:30 pm on Monday.At that time police confiscated the private car and detained its driver.Md. Shahjahan, officer-in-charge of Lohagara police station said the yaba pills were concealed under the driving seat of the car which heading for Chittagong from Teknaf in Cox’s Bazar.A case was filed under narcotics act in this connection.
