The 9th Dutch-Bangla Bank-Prothom Alo Bangladesh Physics Olympiad for Dhaka South Region under the aegis of Bangladesh Physics Olympiad Committee held on Saturday at Southeast University (SEU) Permanent Campus in the capital’s Tejgaon, says a press release.
Prof. Dr. A.N.M. Meshquat Uddin, Vice Chancellor of SEU inaugurated the programme by Flag Hosting, National Anthem Presentation and Balloon Releasing at green field of SEU.
Prof. Dr. Md. Abu Taher, Pro Vice Chancellor, Maj Gen Kazi Fakhruddin Ahmed (Retd), Registrar, teachers and officials from SEU and Foyez Ahmed Jahangir Masud, General Secretary of Bangladesh Physics Olympiad Central Committee and Prof. Dr. Arshad Momen, Coach, Bangladesh Physics Olympiad Central Committee were present among others at the programme.
Registered students took part in the examination in a festive manner. Students also visited departments of SEU. Later, a Question-Answer session held and Certificates and Prizes were awarded to the winners.
