Prime minister Sheikh Hasina on Tuesday night invited Bikalpa Dhara Bangladesh (BDB) to join dialogue at Gono Bhaban over the next general election on Friday evening.
Responding to the BDB president’s letter to her, Awami League president Sheikh Hasina sent a letter to B Chowdhury inviting his party to join the dialogue.
Awami League publicity affair secretary Hasan Mahmud and party cultural affairs secretary Ashim Kumar Ukil handed over the letter to B Chowdhury at his Baridhara residence.
Earlier in the evening, BDB president B Chowdhury sent a letter to Sheikh Hasina seeking dialogue with her party.
On Sunday, Kamal Hossain, in favour of Jatiya Oikya Front, sent a letter to Prime Minister Sheikh seeking dialogue over the national election.
In response to it, Sheikh Hasina sent a letter to Kamal on Tuesday morning and invited Oikya Front leaders to join the dialogue at 7pm on Thursday at Gono Bhaban.
