A four-member probe committee has been formed in connection with the fire that broke out at Hasina Market in the city’s Karwan Bazar area on Sunday night.The Fire Service Civil Defense (FSCD) headquarters formed the committee, headed by its deputy director (Dhaka division) Mozammel Haque.The committee has been asked to submit the report by three days, it is learnt.A nearly two-hour-long fire at Hasina Market in capital Dhaka’s biggest wholesale market, Karwan Bazar, has burned down at least 200 shops on Sunday night.Most of these shops in the two-storey tin-shed market behind Janata Tower were depots of spices.The fire started around 7:45pm, soon after a spell of rain and Nor’wester, and was put out around 9:30pm, Fire Service officials said.
