PRAN bags $5.25m orders at Paris Food Fair

PRAN, a leading food processor in the country, bagged export orders worth around $5.25 million at Sial Food Fair, one of largest food fairs in the world. About 400 importers from 85 countries visited PRAN’s stalls at the five-day fair began on October 21.

This year, about 7000 exhibitors from 109 countries participated in the fair held at Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre in Paris of France. PRAN Group participated in the fair for the ninth times.

Md Mizanur Rahman, Chief Operating Officer at PRAN Export Limited said, this year the group displayed its over 500 products, including 20 new products, in two stalls. Candy, chocolate, lollipop, juice, noodles and biscuit items were the center of attraction among the buyers.

Mentioning that PRAN received tremendous response from the buyers, he said that PRAN products are now being exported to 141 countries. Venezuela, Kosovo, Serbia, Costa Rica and Czech Republic now added in the list as a new importer of the country booked order in the fair.

Kamruzzaman Kamal, Marketing Director of PRAN-RFL Group said, the main purpose of participating in the exhibition is to expand export market. There creates a scope to spread PRAN products across the world as Sial Fair is one of the largest food fairs in the world and traders and buyers from every corner of the globe participate in the fair.
