Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader on Tuesday said the decision on polls-time government would be taken on October 26.
Responding to a question of a journalist, the minister said: “All decisions would be taken on October 26. The meeting of the working committee, adviser committee and parliamentary committee would also be held on that day.”
The minister, also a general secretary of ruling Awami League, said this at a press conference on contemporary political issues at the Secretariat in the capital.
Earlier, on Monday, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at a press conference hinted that the cabinet may not be reduced ahead of the coming eleventh parliamentary election.
