A writ petition has been filed with the High Court seeking its directive to the PSC for the cancellation of the 39th (special) BCS exam.
The petition also sought stay order on the viva-voce of the (39th special) BCS.
Advocate Yunus Ali Akhand on behalf of 22 examinees filed the writ petition with the concerned branch of High Court on Thursday.
In the writ petition, seven error in the question paper are shown as the ground for the cancellation of the exam.
BPSC and PSC controller (cadre) were made defendants in the writ petition.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) has fixed the date for the viva voce of 39th (special) BCS from October 10 to 26.
The viva voce of the qualified candidates will be held at the BPSC office in Dhaka, according to a BPSC press release dated on September 27.
The 39th (special) BCS circular was published on August 8 last for recruiting 4,542 doctors and 250 dental surgeons.
